Every Dussehra is Within – Conquer your darkness, let the Ram within rise
Every year, Ravan’s effigy burns in flames, his ten heads collapsing into ash. But what if those ten heads were never just his? What if they were reflections of the very demons we carry within?
Ravan was not weak. He was one of the greatest scholars, a warrior unmatched in valor, and a king of immense power. He was a true devotee of Lord Shiva. Yet his downfall did not begin with Rama’s arrows—it began within. A man who conquered kingdoms could not conquer his own mind. His negative energy eventually overpowered his positive energy.
Each of his ten heads was not a crown of glory, but a mark of his inner flaws—weaknesses that exist in every human heart:
•Kaam (Lust): Uncontrolled desire that blinds wisdom and seals doom.
•Krodh (Anger): Rage that clouds judgment and drives reckless choices.
•Mada (Pride): Arrogance that deafens us to wise counsel.
•Moha (Delusion/Attachment): Clinging to possessions and ego, bound in illusion.
•Lobha (Greed): Endless thirst for wealth and power.
•Maatsarya (Envy): Resentment that poisons the heart.
•Ahamkara (Ego): Inflated self-importance that blinds us to truth.
•Jaddata (Insensitivity): Disregard for the feelings and suffering of others.
•Ghrina (Hatred): Animosity that consumes the soul.
•Bhaya (Fear): The dread of losing power and possessions.
Ravan’s true defeat was not on the battlefield—it began within.
Every coin has two sides—positive and negative. Life is the same. No matter how difficult the path becomes, no matter how much criticism you face—choose the right side. Choose trust. Choose truth. Never let your negative overpower your positive.
When Ram won the war, he destroyed Ravan—but he also gave us a message: truth always wins. No matter how difficult the path may seem, no matter how strong the negative forces appear—in the end, it is always truth that triumphs.
Because in the end—
✨ Tu hi Ram hai, tu hi Ravan hai.
Ram bhi tu hai, Ravan bhi tu hai.
Krodh bhi tu hai, shanti bhi tu hai.
Nirasha bhi tu aur asha bhi tu.
Bas ab tujhe chunna hai.
